Intro(spective)

Well, that was fun. Let's pick up where we left off: the subject of my blog.
Coming up with a mission statement is harder than you think, despite the fact that many so-called leaders do it all the time. The key to making a successful mission statement is simply this: build in lots of wiggle room. Hey, it worked for the president, right? So, following in his glorious foootsteps, here is my mission statement
We, the editorial emperor of The Frustrated Rationalist, do hearby pledge to investigate into a variety of moral, political and cultural issues using rational methods of inquiry.
Yes, it's short, but that just helps the vagueness (I don't want to handcuff myself to one theme, y'see). But before we go on, there's something you should know. I'm blogging mostly because I like to write. It helps me to clarify my opinions by putting them down on paper. To paraphrase Socrates, the only life worth living is the examined one, and I want my life to be worthwhile. Don't expect regular posts, but I think quite a lot, so they'll probably come out about once a day.
With that said, let the blogging begin!
